Pediatric Occupational Therapy · Central Florida

Play is our favorite occupation.

Evidence-based, child-led occupational therapy helping children build the skills to thrive at home, at school, and in the world.

About the practice

Purposeful play. Meaningful progress.

Florida Therapy Solutions is a pediatric occupational therapy practice serving children and families in Central Florida — with an emphasis on sensory integration and play as the foundation for how children move, learn, and connect. When the sensory system works well, everything else — attention, coordination, self-regulation — has room to grow.

I especially love supporting homeschool families. I have over 20 years of homeschool experience and know first-hand the unique blessings and challenges of this lifestyle. Homeschool schedules let us build therapy into the rhythm of the day. Whether your child needs weekly sessions, targeted intensives, or a home program you can carry forward, I'll shape a plan around your family.

Every plan of care starts with your child — their strengths, their challenges, their goals — and fits within the rhythm and needs of your family. I combine evidence-based clinical practice with a warm, playful environment so children look forward to therapy, and families see real change at home.

I have a particular passion for supporting homeschooling families. The flexibility of homeschooling is one of the greatest gifts you can give a sensory-different child — but it also means you're figuring out how to be both parent and teacher, often without the support of a school team behind you.

I can be that support. Together, we can design a learning environment, daily rhythm, and strategy toolkit that plays to your child's sensory strengths and works towards meaningful goals. Many of the families I love working with most are homeschoolers who've found that traditional school settings simply weren't built for their child — and who are determined to find another way.

I am actively welcoming inquiries and expect to be scheduling new patients soon.

Services

How I help children thrive.

I provide comprehensive occupational therapy across the areas that matter most for growing children. Each program is tailored to your child's needs and family's goals.

Sensory Integration

Sensory integration is the foundation of everything else. When a child's nervous system can efficiently receive and organize sensory input — touch, movement, sound, pressure, and body position — attention, coordination, and emotional regulation all become easier. I use graded, play-based sensory activities to help the nervous system become more organized and adaptive.

Fine Motor Skills

Handwriting, cutting, buttoning, drawing — the small movements that build big independence.

Gross Motor & Coordination

Balance, strength, coordination, and body awareness through play-based activities. When needed, I focus on facilitating normal movement patterns and integrating retained primitive reflexes — often the hidden layer beneath a "clumsy" or motor-avoidant child.

Self-Care & Daily Living

Dressing, feeding, hygiene, and other daily routines that build confidence and independence.

Social-Emotional Skills

Emotional regulation, coping strategies, and social participation for home, school, and community.

Feeding & Oral Motor

Support for picky eaters, food selectivity, and the sensory-motor foundations of mealtime.

Who I serve

Meeting children where they are.

I work with children across a range of ages and needs — including sensory processing differences, autism, ADHD, developmental delays, and coordination challenges. I also welcome the quirky, delightfully different children who don't have a diagnosis but whose families sense that something's getting in the way. A diagnosis isn't required to benefit from OT.

Every family is welcome. I am working toward accepting the Step Up For Students and Unique Abilities scholarships, alongside private pay options — details coming soon.
